o Remove the two fittings (56 and 57) and packings (58 and 59) from
the shuttle valve (13). Loosen the jamnut (60), remove the elbow
(61) and the packing (62) from the shuttle valve (13), and
discard the packings (58, 59, and 62).
o Remove the adapters (63 and 64) and the packings (65 and 66) from
the gage assembly (12) and discard the packings (65 and 66).
Remove the gage (67) from the gage assembly (12).
With all component inspected and defective components replaced, assemble
the hydraulic control panel following the process listed below:
NOTE:
Apply pipe sealant to all male pipe threads prior to assembly.
o Install the gage (67) on the gage assembly (12). Install two new
packings (65 and 66) and the adapters (63 and 64) on the gage
assembly (12).
o Install a new packing (62) and the elbow (61) on the shuttle
valve (13), and tighten the jamnut (60).
Install two new
packings (58 and 59) and the fittings (56 and 57) on the shuttle
valve (13).
o Install the ballistic shield directional control valve subplate
assembly (43) with two screws (85), nuts (87), and new lockwasher
(88). Install the ballistic directional control valve (93) and
subplate relief valve assembly (95) onto the subplate assembly
(43) with four screws (92) and new packings (94 and 96). Install
the plate (90) using a gasket (1) and four screws (89).
o The conveyor and stacker direction control valves may be
installed using the same procedures.
Install each subplate
assemble (19 and 43) with two screws (85), flat washers (87),
nuts (88), and new lockwashers (87).
Install the directional
control valves (79) on each subplate assembly (19 and 43) with
four screws (83) and new packing (84). Install plate (81) using
a gasket (82) and screws (81).
o Install the gage panel assembly (78) using four screws (76) and
new lockwashers.
o Install the elbow (55) on the flow control valve (53). Using two
screw (68), nuts (70), and new lockwashers (69), install the flow
control valve (53) on the control panel.
