o Remove the center section.
To install the conveyor center section assembly, reverse the removal process.

17. Removal and Installation of the Conveyor Center Section Assembly Side, Chain,
and Bottom Wear Strips.
NOTE: All item numbers refer to Figure 19.
The center section wear strips are removed by following the procedure outlined:
o Remove the chain assembly.
o Remove the five screws (1) from each side wear strip (2), pry up, and remove
the wear strip from the center section.
o Remove the four screws (4) and chain return wear strip (5).
o Remove the six screws (6) and bottom wear strip (7).
The installation procedure will be accomplished following the steps outlined:
o Thoroughly clean the wear strip mounting surfaces of the center section (3)
with solvent (Item 19, Appx. D), ensuring all particles are removed.
o Roughen the underside of the wear strips (2).
Apply adhesive (Item 4, Appx.
D) to the roughened side of the
