o Loosen the two setscrews (1 and 2) on each of the flanged bearing assemblies
(3 and 4). Remove the two screws (5), lockwashers (6), and flat washers (7)
from each bearing assembly and the flanged bearings.
o Remove the three screws (10), nuts (11 and 14), lockwashers (12), six flat
washers (13), and two take up plates (8 and 9).
o Remove the spacer (15) from the shaft (16), loosen the two lockscrews (17 and
18), and tap the sprocket (19) loose from the hub (20).
Remove the shaft,
with the sprocket, spacer (21), and hub, from the conveyor assembly.
o Remove the spacer (21), sprocket, and drive the hub (20) from the shaft.
Remove the key from the shaft (22).
Install the idler sprocket assembly following the steps outlined:
o Install the hub (20) and key (22) on the shaft (16). Position the sprocket
(19) and spacer (21) on the shaft. DO NOT SECURE THE SPROCKET TO THE HUB.
o Install the shaft (16) with the spacer (21) and sprocket (19) positioned on
the shaft in the conveyor assembly.
Once the shaft is positioned, install
the sprocket on the hub (2) with the lockscrews (17 and 18). DO NOT TIGHTEN
THE LOCKSCREWS. Install the spacer (15) on the shaft.
o Install the nut (24) on the adjusting rod of both take
