With the conveyor roller assembly removed, begin the disassembly process using the
following steps:
o Using a punch and hammer, drive out the spring pins (5) from the roller shaft
(6) and bracket (3).
Discard the springs.
Drive the roller shaft through
the bracket and roller (7).
o Remove the shaft (6), roller (7), and the two bearing sleeves (8) from the
roller.
With the conveyor roller disassembled, begin the assembly and installation process
using the following steps:
o Install the two bearing sleeves (8) in the roller (7). Install the roller on
the bracket (3) with the shaft (6) and new spring pins (5).
o Install the roller bracket (3) in the conveyor assembly and secure with eight
screws and new lockwashers.
o Fold down the conveyor dead end sections.

Prior to starting this maintenance task the conveyor chain must be removed.
