Make sure all systems are shut down and the MASTER switch is OFF.
The
hydraulic fluid may be hot.
WARNING
High pressure hydraulic fluid is used to operate the conveyor. Serious
injury may result when high pressure fluid comes in contact with the
skin.
Shut off all hydraulic components before performing any
maintenance.
CAUTION
Take necessary precautions to prevent the entry of contaminants into
the hydraulic system.
Hydraulic lines and ports should be capped
immediately after disconnecting lines to avoid entry of contaminants
into the system.
NOTE: Note location and routing of hoses prior to removal.
Tag hoses and fittings
upon removal to ensure proper installation.
This maintenance task requires four personnel.
NOTE: All item numbers refer to Figure 24.
The conveyor assembly and support stand is removed by following the procedure
outlined:
o Remove the conveyor springs (1).
This task is a separate maintenance task.
