With the piston all the way out, measure the distances A and B,
write the lengths on a tag, and attach the tag to the connector
(fig. 1-56).

Removal of the Forward Engine Module.
NOTE:
This lesson describes the process for removing the forward engine
module with the accessory gearbox removed.
To remove the forward
engine module with the accessory gearbox (5) attached, you must
refer to TM 9-2835-255-34 for the correct procedure (fig. 1-58).
With all the powerpack and engine parts and components properly positioned
or removed, you can begin the removal procedure for the forward engine
module.
This procedure requires a total of two people.
The paragraphs
below describe the removal procedure for the forward engine module.
Position the Forward Dolly. Position the dolly (1) all the way in
by turning the handle (3) on the maintenance stand clockwise until
the dolly is all the way in. Then you unhook the two latches (4)
and remove the three bolts (5) and bracket (2) on the forward engine
module (fig. 1-57).
