elbow (3) and remove the flared conical seal (4). Then disconnect

the hose nut (5) from the cylinder assembly adapter (6) and remove

the flared conical seal (7).

Now you must remove the cotter pin

(10) from the straight pin (11), take the control assembly end (8),

two washers (12), and the straight pin off the cylinder (9) and the

lever (13) (fig. 1-55).

FLUID CAN SQUIRT FROM THE CYLINDER (1) AND CAUSE EYE

INJURY (FIG. 1-56).

TILT THE CYLINDER DRAIN INTO A

PAIL. GOGGLES MUST BE WORN.

Remove the cotter pin (4) from the straight pin (5) and the straight

pin from the cylinder (1). Now you must drain the cylinder into a

pail. After you have drained the cylinder, remove the elbow (2) and

the adapter (3), and lift the cylinder from the powerpack (fig.

Now you must measure the plate (6) and connector (7) distance. To

measure these distances, pull the connector (7) until the piston (8)

has travel all the way out.
