The removal/installation of the engine AFES remote status indicator is the

fourth and last Item to be addressed in this portion of the subcourse. You

will perform this task by using Figure 31 and the procedures listed below.

WARNING

Turn the engine T/A panel MAINTenance switch to the

vertical position.

Make sure the locking pin is

installed in the actuator guard of the engine

extinguisher cylinder bottle no. 1 and install the

locking pin in the valve actuator guard of the engine

extinguisher cylinder bottle no. 2.
