The extinguisher is located on the upper left
portion of the forward crew compartment bulkhead.
o You must now disconnect electrical harness connector (Item 7) from
the actuator of the crew compartment fire extinguisher no. 2 (Item
8). Facing to the rear of the crew compartment, this extinguisher
is located on the left side of the rear bulkhead.
o The connector (Item 9) must now be disconnected from the SCEA (Item
10).
o You must now open the cable straps in order to remove harness
12351501.
This task is accomplished by removal of a screw (Item
11), a flat washer (Item 12), and a lockwasher (Item 13) from each
of the 14 strap assemblies (Item 14), 12 strap assemblies (Item 15),
and two strap assemblies (Item 16). Remove only electrical harness
12351501 from the strap assemblies and keep the remaining harnesses
strapped to the cargo compartment bulkhead.
o The installation procedures are the reverse order of the removal
procedures.

o After wiring harness 12351501 has been installed, power restored,
tests completed, and the valve actuator locking pins removed, remove
the anti-recoil plugs.
Cable 12351754 is the last item of the crew AFES electrical wiring harness
system which is to be removed and installed.
