Crew AFES Electrical Wiring Cable 12351754.
The removal and installation of electrical wiring harness 12351500, which is
a part of the engine AFES, is the last of the electrical harnesses covered
in this portion of the subcourse. The engine AFES has been deactivated, the
left projectile rack is removed, and the engine compartment extinguisher
bottle brackets have been removed.
You are now ready to proceed.
Use
Figure 37 and the procedures shown below to begin the removal and
installation process as it applies to electrical wiring harness 12351500.
o Disconnect the harness plugs (Item 1) from the forward bulkhead of
the driver's compartment.
o Now disconnect the harness plug (Item 2) from the engine T/A panel
(Item 3). Remember, the engine T/A panel is located in the driver's
compartment.
o You must now disconnect the harness plug (Item 4) from the harness
12351461 connector (Item 5). You can find these items on the left
side of the driver's compartment.
o Now you are ready to disconnect the harness plugs (Items 6 and 7)
from the actuator of the engine fire extinguisher bottles no.
1,(Item 8) and no. 2 (Item 9). These items are found on the forward
bulkhead of the crew compartment.
o Disconnect the harness plug (Item 10) from the remote sensor
indicator (Item 11). The RSI is located on the overhead of the crew
compartment.
