Never look at the sun through the ISU; doing so
could cause blindness.
WARNING
Accidental firing of a TOW missile may result in
death or injury.
Make sure that the ARM-SAFE-
RESET switch is in the SAFE position. Unload and
clear the TOW launcher before boresighting.
(1) Position the vehicle facing a suitable target about 3960
feet from the vehicle. Remember that a square shape makes the best
target for boresighting.
Stop the engine and turn ON the TURRET
POWER switch. Then, turn on the NIGHT VISION PWR switch.
(2) Move the MAG (magnification) switch (figure 33) to HIGH
until it clicks.
(3) Move the SENSOR SELECT switch to CLEAR or NEUTRAL.
