Describe the procedures for boresighting the tube-launched,
optically-tracked, wire-guided (TOW) missile launcher.

Introduction
As with all the other weapons on the Bradley fighting vehicle, it is
important that the TOW missile launcher be accurately boresighted so
that, when fired, the missile will hit the desired target.  This task
describes the procedures used to boresight the TOW missile launcher.
2.
Boresighting the TOW Launcher
a. The procedure for boresighting the TOW launcher is similar to
that used to boresight the 25mm gun and the coaxial machinegun, and
will  require  a  helper.
As  with  those  two  weapons,  a  boresight
telescope  will  be  used  to  sight  on  an  aiming  point  and  then
adjustments will be made to align the TOW reticle with that aiming
point.
b. TOW Launcher Boresighting Procedures.
Before beginning the
procedures for boresighting the TOW launcher, these warnings should
be observed:
