(6) With AP appearing on the status indicator, turn the focus
barrel (figure 30) to focus the gun reticle.
(7) After, the gun reticle is focused, turn the NIGHT VISION
PWR switch to BRSIT (boresight).
NOTE
During boresighting, the day sight gun reticle of
the boresight vehicle is aligned with the
boresight lamp on the buddy vehicle.
The night
sight gun reticle on the boresight vehicle is
aligned with the thermal resistor on the buddy
vehicle.
(8) Align the elevation crosshair in the gun reticle on the
boresight lamp (figure 31 on the following page) of the buddy
vehicle.
The 25mm gun should be manually elevated or depressed as
needed to accomplish this alignment.
(9) Align the azimuth crosshair in the gun reticle on the
boresight lamp of the buddy vehicle.
The turret should be manually
traversed, as needed, to accomplish this alignment.
