(10) Move the SENSOR SELECT switch to NIGHT.
(11) Turn the BRT knob to adjust the brightness and the CON knob
(refer to figure 25 on page 32) to adjust the contrast.
(12) Turn the FOCUS knob (refer to figure 25) to focus the gun
reticle.  A freewheeling effect will be noticed if the FOCUS knob is
turned  left  more  than  seven  to  nine  turns  from  a  fully  right
position.
(13) Check  the  alignment  of  the  gun  reticle  on  the  thermal
resistor (figure 32 on the following page) of the buddy vehicle.  If
the elevation crosshair and the azimuth crosshair in the gun reticle
are aligned on the thermal resistor of the buddy vehicle, the night
sight  is  boresighted.
However,  if  the  elevation  and  azimuth
crosshairs  of  the  gun  reticle  are  not  aligned  with  the  thermal
resistor of the buddy vehicle, the night sight must be boresighted to
the daysight.
