INSTALLING THE BORESIGHT TELESCOPE.
(12) The boresight telescope must now be installed in the TOW
launcher (figure 37). Follow this procedure to install the boresight
telescope:
(a) Gently push the shank of the boresight telescope into the
TOW launcher until it is seated.
The shank of the boresight
telescope is tapered.
Slide the shank into the TOW launcher far
enough so that the boresight telescope will hold its own weight.
(b) Turn the boresight telescope so that the eyepiece is at
the top.
(c) When the boresight telescope is in, hang a red streamer
on the boresight telescope.
