Finally, remove the two screws (11) (figure 25 on the following page)
and shunt (2) from the support (10).
This completes the procedures for removing the battery STE-M1/FVS
shunt. In the paragraphs that follow, the procedures for installing
the battery STE-M1/FVS shunt will be discussed.
While reading
through these paragraphs, refer back to figures 20 thru 25 on pages
24 through 28.

REMOVING WIRING HARNESS
1W1 FROM THE SHUNT.
To install the shunt, position the new shunt on the support. Insert
two screws on the support.
Now install leads 1W1E2 to 1A2R1-2 and
1W1E1 to 1A2R1-1. Be sure to remove the tags and to secure the leads
with two washers, new lock washers, and screws on the shunt terminal.
Following the installation of wiring harness 1W1, push the support
back and down on the three mounts.
Then install the three washers
and new locknuts on the mount. Once the support is installed on the
mounts, install lead 1W14E2 on terminal 1A2R1-1 and remove tag. Then
install the washer, lock washer, and screw on the terminal.
Following the installation of the lead 1W14E2, install lead 1W16E1 on
terminal 1A2R1-2; followed by installing the washer, lock washer, and
screw on the terminal.
