LD/R Controls and Indicators.
Three digital readouts at the bottom of the eyepiece display provide you
with information about the target. Reading from left to right, you find
the four-digit displays for azimuth (AZ), range (RNG), and elevation
(EL).
You will also notice three colored light indicators in the
eyepiece display.
At the bottom left is the LASER FAIL light (red). The LASER FAIL light
indicates two critical conditions concerning the lasing function.
A
blinking LASER FAIL light warns you that the laser is overheating. If
the LASER FAIL indicator lights full-on, the laser output is low.
