Remove the Plenum-to-Engine Plain Seal. Remove the cover (1) from
the screen assembly (4). Then, pull back the seal lip (5) (at the
bottom right side of the screen at the 5 o'clock position) and reach
in and loosen the clamp nut (6). After you have loosened the clamp
nut, pull the seal (2) forward and off the screen. Next, pull the
seal lip back and find the joint on the clamp (3); grasp the joint
on the clamp, and pull the clamp out from inside the seal, past the
lip, and off the seal (fig. 1-16).
