Tube Assembly (Top of the Inlet Guide
Vane Actuating Cylinder).
Remove the Tube Assembly (Bottom of the Inlet Guide Vane Actuating
Cylinder). Remove the self-locking nut (2) and screw (3) from the
loop clamp (4) and remove the clamp from the tubes (1).
Then,
disconnect the tube nut (5) from the tube (1) and remove the flared
conical seal (6). Then, you disconnect the other tube nut (7) from
the elbow (8), remove the tube assembly from the power-pack by
pulling it under the strut (10), and remove the flared conical seal
(9) (fig. 1-20).
Remove the Tube Assembly (No. 2 and No. 3 Bearing Feed).
Before
starting this removal process, you must have removed the bearing
feed tube assemblies clamps (TM 9-2350-264-20-1-3). With the clamps
removed, you can disconnect the tube nut (2) from the elbow (3) at
the engine oil pump (4) and remove the flared conical seal (5).
Then, at the other end of the tube assembly, disconnect the tube nut
(6) from the elbow (7) at the compressor housing (8), remove the
tube assembly (1), and the flared conical seal (9) (fig. 1-21).
