Perform this next step only if two bolts (5) and a bolt (6) with a
keywasher (7) hold the screen assembly in place (fig. 1-17).
Cut and peel the sealing compound from the bolts (2 and 3) and
remove the bolts (2) from the rim.
After you have removed the
bolts, bend the tab on the keywasher (5) away from the other bolt
(3) and remove the bolt and keywasher from the rim. Then, you can
tap the rim gently and remove the screen (1) from the housing (6).
After you have removed the screen, cut and peel the sealing compound
from the inside of the flange of the screen (fig. 1-18).
After you have removed the screen assembly using one of the two
steps described above, you remove the preformed packing (7) (fig.
1-18).

Remove the Tube Assembly (Top of the Inlet Guide Vane Actuating
Cylinder). Remove the self-locking nut (2) and clamp screw (3) for
the loop clamp (4), and remove the clamp from the tube assembly (1).
After you have removed the clamp, disconnect the tube nut (5) from
the adapter (6) and remove the flared conical seal (7). Then, cut
off the tiedown strap (8) and disconnect the tube nut (9), at the
other end of the tube (1), from the tube nipple (10), and removed
the flared conical seal (11). Lift the tube assembly (1) from the
powerpack (fig. 1-19).
