Install a quick-disconnect end (13) on the hose (10). Connect
the hose to bulkhead quick-disconnect end (12) and the hose on
elbow (11).
o Install a quick-disconnect end (9) on the hose (6). Connect the
hose to bulkhead quick-disconnect end (8) and on the clutch
hydraulic port (7).
o Install a quick-disconnect end (5) on hose (1) and connect the
hose to the bulkhead quick-disconnect end (4). Install the elbow
(2) in pump inlet port (3) and install the hose on the elbow.
NOTE:
All items refer to Figure 32.
CAUTION
The pump assembly weighs approximately 55 pounds. Wood
blocking should be placed under it to prevent it from
falling out of place when you remove the mounting screws.
o Loosen the two nuts (1 and 2) and screw (3), and move the backup
pump (4) to the left, releasing the tension of the two V-belts
(5). Remove the V-belts from around the engine crankshaft pulley
(6) and pump sheave (7).
o Remove the screws (3 and 13), shim washers (9 and 11),
lockwashers (10 and 12), nuts (2), and the pump and clutch
assembly; discard the lockwashers.
NOTE:
All items refer to Figure 33.
o Remove the bracket from the main engine by removing the four nuts
(8), lockwashers (9), screws (10) and flat washers (11); discard
the lockwashers.
o Install the pump bracket (7) to the main engine using four nuts
(8), screws (10), flat washers (11), and new lockwashers (9).
NOTE:
All items refer to Figure 32.
o Install the pump to the main engine using screws (13 and 3), shim
washers (9 and 11), nuts (2), and new lockwasher (10 and 12).
