o Have an assistant hold the upper rear door switch in the UP
position (Fig. 11).
o With an assistant, pull the upper rear door from the vehicle
until the safety lock engages at the 45 position from closed.
o Close the dump valve (Fig. 11).
To close the upper rear door without any hydraulic power you must use the
following procedure:
CAUTION
When you release the safety handle in this procedure, door may
drop rapidly.
Two persons should support the weight of the
door throughout this procedure to make sure that the door
lowers door lowers slowly.
Keep hands and feet clear of doorway.
o Turn the MASTER switch to the ON position.
o Open the dump valve (Fig. 11 item 1).
o With an assistant, push the door up enough to remove the door's
weight from the safety lock.
o While holding the door, release the safety lock pin by pivoting
the handle down and towards the rear of the vehicle.
o Have an assistant hold the upper rear door switch in the DOWN
position (Fig. 11 item 2).
o After the door has closed completely, close the dump valve.
