Engine AFES Relays Cover - Removal and Installation.
This part of the subcourse will teach you how to remove and install the
engine AFES relays cover. Engine AFES relays cover removal and installation
process is a simple process which first requires the removal of the engine
T/A panel bracket. Using Figure 26 and the following removal/installation
procedures, you can now proceed with the engine AFES relays cover removal/
installation process.
WARNING
Do not allow metal objects such as a wrench or
screwdriver, etc. to cross any of the relay terminals.
Crossing of terminals may cause accidental discharge
of AFES extinguisher bottles.
o Remove the AFES relays cover (Item 1) by removing four screws (Item
2), four flat washers (Item 3) and four lockwashers (Item 4).

The installation process for the engine AFES relays cover is the reverse
procedure of the removal process. Be sure you have used new lockwashers for
the installation process.
