switch to the RESET position and then to the ARM position. Next, he presses
and releases the AP/SS button. Now he presses and releases the LO AMMO OVRD
button (7), and then squeezes the gunner's triggers (8).
Finally, he is
asked if the 25mm gun dry fires and if the bolt indicator shows a misfire.
Since the gun did not dry fire and the bolt position indicator does not show
a misfire, SGT Cordoba will follow the no arrow to the next box of
instructions. In the next box of instructions, SGT Cordoba is directed to
squeeze the handwheel manual trigger (1) (figure 20).

Again, SGT Cordoba is asked if the gun dry fires and if the bolt position
indicator shows a misfire. Again, the answer is no.
This time, SGT Cordoba is directed to squeeze the commander's palm switch
(2) (figure 21 on the following page) and trigger (3).
Once again he is
asked if the gun dry fired and if the bolt position indicator shows a
misfire; this time the gun did dry fire and the bolt position indicator
indicates that a misfire has occurred. So SGT Cordoba will follow the yes
arrow to the next box of instructions.
In the next box of instructions, he is directed to power down the turret and
to place the MASTER POWER switch to the OFF position. Once this is done, he
