TEST CONTAINER SWITCHES.
To perform these procedures, SGT Rhodes first connects the STE test set to
the diagnostic panel and performs the self-test procedures. Since the test
set did not fail the self-test, he follows the no arrow to the next box of
instructions. At this point, he enters 2720 onto the SETCOM. He is then
asked if the SETCOM displays a cable instruction message word number. Since
the display does not show a cable instruction message word number,
SGT Rhodes will follow the no arrow to the next box of instructions. In the
next box of instructions, he is asked if the SETCOM displays a fault
message. Since it does show a fault message, SGT Rhodes turns to the fault
message index starting on page 3-605 of TM 9-2350-252-20-2-2. In this case,
the fault message indicated is 262062, which is a follow-on procedure to
replace the TOW control box. The procedures for replacing the TOW control
box are on page 20-2 of TM 9-2350-252-20-2-3.
After the TOW control box has been replaced, SGT Rhodes repeats the
troubleshooting procedures to ensure that the malfunction has been corrected
