FAN/LAMP TEST SWITCH.
To perform test number 2600, SGT Wade connects the STE-MI/FVS test set to
the vehicle distribution box and performs the STE self-test.
Since no
faults were found with the test set, he will proceed to the next box of
instructions.
In the next box of instructions, he is directed to remove the center turret
floor plate, following the procedures outlined on page 4-22 of TM 9-2350-
252-20-2-2.
When the turret floor plate is removed, SGT Wade enters test
number 2600 on the SETCOM.
Since the SETCOM did not display a cable
instruction message word, and since it did not display a fault message, SGT
Wade is directed to proceed with the testing by performing test number 2390
between plug 2W203P1 and jack 2W203J1 at jack J4 on the diagnostic panel.
Since the display indicates that wiring harness 2W203 is good, SGT Wade will
follow the yes arrow to the next box of instructions. In the next box of
instructions, he is directed to perform 2391 on jack 2W203J1 at diagnostic
panel jack J4. Now he is asked if cable 2W203 is good. Since the answer to
this question is no, SGT Wade places the MASTER POWER and TURRET POWER
switches to the OFF positions and replaces cable 2W203, following the
procedures contained on page 5-301 of TM 9-2350-252-20-2-2. Once the cable
has been replaced, SGT Wade reperforms the troubleshooting procedures to
ensure that the malfunction has been corrected and that no additional
