Step 5.
Inspect the mounts. If mounts are worn, go to step 6.
If mounts are
not worn, the procedure is complete, go to (3) below.
Step 6.
Remove mounts from the bulkhead.

Removal of the Power Converter.
Step 1.
Remove two plugs from two jacks on the power converter, as follows:
(a)
2W103P1 from 2A3034502, and
(b)
2W103P5 from 2A3034501.
Be sure to tag the plugs.
Step 2.
Loosen three screws holding the power converter to three mounts, and
then remove the power converter and six washers from the three mounts.
(4)
Removal of the Encoder and Slipring Assembly.
Step 1.
Remove plug 2W6P2 from jack 2A2J1 on the encoder shaft.
Be sure to tag
the plug.
Step 2.
Remove the connecting link from the slipring by removing a lockscrew
and then the connecting link. Discard the lockscrew.
Step 3.
Support the slipring from below.
Remove three screws, washers, and
slipring from the bracket attached to the turret. Then place the slipring on the
floor of the turret.
Step 4.
Remove four screws, washers, and bracket from the turret.
Step 5.
Remove eight plugs from eight jacks on the slipring, as follows:
(a)
2W1P1 from 2A7J1,
(b)
1W4P1 from 2A7J2,
(c)
2W2P1 from 2A7J3,
(d)
1W5P2 from 2A7J4,
(e)
CX7050A/VRC (10 ft) from 2A7J5,
