REMOVING CONNECTING LINK
FROM BELLCRANK.
Step 3.
Remove link (1) from bellcrank (2) by removing cotter pin
(3), locknut (4), screw (5), and three washers (6)(see figure 12).
Step 4. Remove link (7) from bellcrank (2) by removing locknut (8),
screw (9), and three washers (10)(see figure 12).
Step 5. Remove bellcrank (2) from plate (11) by removing screw (12),
washer (13), spacer (14), bellcrank (2), washer (15), and spacer
(16)(see figure 13 on the following page).
Step 6.
Remove plate (11) from transmission (17) by bending tabs
(18) down on three key washers (19) and then removing three screws
(20), and key washers (19)(see figure 13).
(3) Procedural Steps for Installing the Steering Control Link and
Bellcrank Assembly.
Step 1.
Install plate (11), three new key washers (19), and three
screws (20) on transmission (17), and then bend tabs (18) on new key
washers (19) over heads of screws (20)(see figure 13).
