MAINTENANCE OF THE M113 PER CARRIER - OD1601 LESSON 2/PE 2
PRACTICAL EXERCISE 2
Instructions
On a plain sheet of paper, write down the answers to the following questions.
When
you have answered them, check your answers from the answer page that follows.
You awake this Monday morning again realizing that you have lost the battle of
stretching a paycheck beyond the first weekend after payday. Multitudes of brave
soldiers have tried, but few have survived what you ate, drank, and did over the
weekend.
Having sufficiently pieced your body together, you arrive at your
maintenance shop and wonder why the lights seem so bright, and why someone in the
shop seems to be firing a 175mm cannon INSIDE the shop when the door is closed.
You have one humongous headache and you are just about ready to bury yourself under
a dirtball when the maintenance OIC confronts you with a malfunctioning M113A1/A2
(which is being used in maneuvers) and needs to have the electrical system
troubleshot immediately.
As he gives you the assignment, he looks doubtfully at
your drooping eyelids and tells you that you don't look ready to troubleshoot your
nose this morning, much less an M113A1/A2.
