Step 5.
Check to see if there is water in the fuel.
Drain the primary and secondary fuel filters (figure 10).
Step 6.
Check to see if the engine is getting enough air.
Clean the air cleaner element if air restriction indicates RED.
Clear the air intake grill of any debris.
If the engine still does not start, the fault should be recorded on DA Form 2404
and unit maintenance should be notified.
