CAUTION
DO NOT RUN THE POWERPACK WITHOUT THE GROUND HOP FILTER.
THE POWERPACK WILL BE DAMAGED IF DUST GETS IN.
c. Install the Ground Hop Filter.
To install the filter, you
first must remove the air intake cover (3) from the screen assembly
(4).
Then pick up the filter (1) by the two handles (5), ensuring
you have the UP decal (6) on the top of the filter, and slide it over
the screen assembly and under the plenum plain seal (7).
When you
have correctly positioned the filter, torque the seal clamp nut (2)
between 60 - 85 inch pounds (fig. 1-26).
d. Remove the Plastic Protective Covering from the Precleaner
Hose.
Remove the plastic covering and tape installed during the
powerpack removal process (10)(fig. 1-26).
e. Install the NBC Protective Cap Plug.
To install the NBC
protective cap plug (9), place it in the-air bleed valve port (11),
then put the V-clamp (12)(removed during powerpack removal) on the
port and tighten the clamp (fig. 1-26).

f. Connect the Ground Hop Fuel Hose Assemblies and Purge the
Hoses. These hose assemblies allow the tank's fuel system
