Inspect the left (2 and 3), right (1), and crossover (4) heat shields
for bends, cracks, or breaks (fig. 1-21).
If you find damage,
replace the heat shields according to TM 9-2350-264-20-1.

You must install the
plenum cover over the plenum opening (11) to prevent dirt and foreign
matter from entering the plenum.
Wipe the outside surfaces of the
two final drive assembly mechanical housings (13) with clean rags,
place a final drive cover (14) on each housing (13), and install the
four center screws (15)(fig. 1-21).
r. Reconnect the Tank's
Power.
Reconnect
power
using
the
procedure described below:
WARNING
Remove rings, bracelets, wristwatches, and neck chains before
working around the tank.
Jewelry can catch on equipment and
cause injury, or may short across an electrical circuit and cause
severe burns or electrical shock.
Loosen the screw (2) so the bus (1) moves freely and swing
the notched end of the bus under the washer (4), lockwasher
(5), and the head of the screw (3) on the conductor bus
(6). Tighten and torque the screws (2 and 3) between 50 -
55 foot pounds (fig. 1-22).
