(d) Place the transmission DIRECTION SELECTOR (figure 23 on
the following page) in the neutral (N) position. Insert the key in
the ignition switch and turn clockwise (ON) to the first position.
The accelerator pedal is then depressed 1/3 to 1/2 down from the
normal position.
