CAUTION
When operating in excess of 10 mph or on hard
surface terrain or roads, the standard tire
inflation
pressure
of
45
psi
should
be
maintained.
NOTE
When operating in high temperature conditions,
additional cooling may be obtained by removing
the grille and the towing bar (IDS maintenance
should be notified of this condition).
(f) The declutching pedal (figure 15 on page 44) can be used
during all operations in any speed range.

used to quickly raise the forks by depressing it and increasing the

applies the service brakes.
(g) Check the TRANS TEMP indicator on the instrument panel. If
the indicator is flashing on and off, or is on steadily, place the
transmission direction selector in the neutral position and operate
at approximately 1000 to 1500 rpm until the indicator is off. If the
indicator is still on steadily after five minutes, stop the engine
and check it for probable cause.
(h) If the HYDRAULIC FILTER indicator lights up, continue the
operation and then notify IDS maintenance at the end of the work
shift so that they can take corrective action.
Then place the transmission direction selector in the neutral (N)
position.
(b) Set the parking brake by pulling the parking brake lever
towards the operator.
Then lower the forks to the ground by
operating the LIFT control lever.
