Instrument Panel Gauges and Indicators.
(1) Oil Pressure Gauges (l)(figure 20). This gauge indicates the
oil pressure and is electrically connected to the engine oil pressure
sender located on the right side of the engine.
The gauge is
calibrated in 20 psi increments to a maximum of 80 psi. Normal oil
pressure is 50 to 70 psi. If the pressure indicator is below 50 psi
or above 70 psi, and if the OIL PRESSURE indicator is lit, then the
engine should be turned OFF and a check made to find out the probable
cause. However, if the OIL PRESSURE indicator is not lit, operation
can be continued and the oil pressure abnormal indication can be
reported to IDS maintenance.
(2) Fuel Gauge (2)(figure 20).
The fuel gauge indicates the
quantity of fuel in the fuel tank.
The gauge is electrically
connected to the fuel level sender located on the top of the fuel
tank.
