Driving on Improved Surfaces.
There are various surfaces one
may travel over while operating and driving the forklift.
When
driving on improved surfaces, the following procedures should be
followed:
(1) The drive selector lever should be placed in the TWO WHEEL DR
position and the CRAB, CRAMP and TWO WHEEL steering control lever
placed in the TWO WHEEL steering position.
Then the TWO WHEEL
steering should be engaged (figure 3).
These procedures should be
conducted before the forklift is started and driven on improved
surfaces.
