NOTE
Cramping is not recommended for soft terrain.
After operating the forklift in
the surf,
lubricate it according to LO 10-3930-242-12-1.

Driving in Sand or Snow.
This procedure is different from
driving in the surf. The operator should follow these procedures:
(1) He first starts the engine and raises the forks 12 to 18
inches above the operating surface by pulling back on the fork lift
control lever until the proper height is achieved (figure 5).
