WARNINGS
Operation of this equipment presents a noise
hazard to personnel in the area. The noise level
exceeds the allowable limits for unprotected
personnel. Wear eat muffs or ear plugs.
When climbing into the driver's seat, be careful not to bump head on
the roll over structure (ROPS).
Seat belts will be worn while
operating this equipment.
a.
The outside steering radius of the
CRAMP steering mode and 43 feet in the
TWO WHEEL steering mode. If
steering difficulty is experienced in
the CRAMP or CRAB modes of
steering, it may be best to continue
operation in the TWO WHEEL
steering mode.
b.
Although the operator must know how to perform every operation
of which the forklift is capable, some jobs present different
problems and the operator may have to vary from the regular operating
procedures to fit that individual job.
However, you, as the
technician,
should
be
acquainted
with
the
correct
operating
procedures so that you will be able to properly instruct your
personnel.
c.
Engine Starting Instructions.
Prior to starting the forklift,
preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS) should be
performed by the operator.
NOTE
Starting circuit is operative only when FWD-NEUT-
REV control lever is in NEUT.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the forklift operations
should only be continued if there is not an
apparent loss of hydraulic oil and no unusual
noise from the hydraulic pump.
