Procedural Steps for Removal of the Gun Elevation Drive Gearbox.
Four
initial steps and four preliminary procedures must be performed before the gun
elevation drive gearbox can be removed.
The initial steps are described in
subparagraph 2b(1) and the preliminary procedures are found in 2b(2) through 2b(5)
below.

Initial Steps for Removal.
NOTE
The procedures needed to perform steps 1 through 4 can be
found in TM 9-2350-252-10-2.
Step 1.
Remove the 25mm gun barrel.
Step 2.
Remove the 25mm gun feeder.
Step 3.
Remove the 25mm gun receiver.
Step 4.
Manually elevate the 25mm gun to maximum elevation.
(2)
Removal of the Weapon Control Box.
Step 1.
Remove plug 2W3P2 from jack 2A4J1 on the back of the weapon control
box.
Step 2.
Remove plug 2W4P2 from jack 2A4J2 on the back of the weapon control
box.
Step 3.
Remove three locknuts, washers, and the weapon control box from its
support.
Discard the locknuts.
