Handle ammo with care.
Do not bump primers against any
hard surface.
NOTE
Seven ammo boxes, AP or HE, can be stowed in the IFV floor.
Eight ammo boxes, AP or HE, can be stowed in the CFV floor.
Step 9.
Unstow the AP ammo boxes, as needed, from the floor by lifting and
turning nine fastener handles.
Remove the three floor plates and unstow the AP
ammo boxes. Reinstall the three floor plates and lift and turn the nine fastener
handles.
Step 10.
Stack the AP ammo boxes.
Step 11.
Unstow the squad seats, if necessary.
These procedures, when needed,
can be found in TM 9-2350-252-10-1.
NOTE
Thirteen ammo boxes, AP or HE, can be stowed in the IFV
ammo racks. Thirty-two ammo boxes, AP or HE, can be stowed
in the CFV ammo racks.
Step 12.
Unstow the AP ammo boxes from the IFV ammo racks, if necessary, by
folding down the backrests of seats No. 4, No. 5, and No. 8. Unbuckle the straps
on the ammo racks.
Unstow the AP ammo boxes from the ammo racks.
Fasten and
tighten the straps on the ammo racks and raise the backrests of seats No. 4, No. 5,
and No. 8.
Step 13.
Stack the AP ammo boxes.
Step 14.
Unstow the AP ammo boxes from the CFV ammo racks, if necessary, by
unbuckling the straps on the ammo racks.
Unstow the AP ammo boxes from the ammo
racks. Fasten and tighten the straps on the ammo racks.
