WARNING
If the HE-AP selector switch is at AP with HE ammo loaded,
the rounds will fall short.
Soldiers could be killed or
injured.
Check that the HE-AP selector switch is at HE
when HE ammo is loaded.
Step 35.
Move the HE-AP selector switch to HE.
Step 36.
Stow the empty ammo cans.

Step 37.
Close the turret shield door.
These procedures, when needed, can be
found on page 2-139 of TM 9-2350-252-10-2.
WARNING
Soldiers near a moving turret or guns could be killed or
injured and equipment could be damaged. Clear soldiers and
equipment from the top of the vehicle before moving the
turret or guns.
Step 38.
Move the TURRET POWER switch to ON.
Step 39.
Move the TURRET DRIVE SYSTEM switch to ON.
Step 40.
Release the turret travel lock.

Step 41.
Traverse the turret to 6400 mils.
These procedures, when needed, can
be found on page 2-152 of TM 9-2350-252-10-2.
