To remove the LR Tester from the base, refer to the removal procedure
When a plastic
cable clamp or cable tie is in the way, use a sharp knife or diagonal
pliers to cut it off of the wire bundle. Mark or make note of where
the clamp or tie was, and upon part replacement, put on a new tie or
clamp. After a part has been replaced, conduct a pass/fail test in
its entirety.
The following maintenance procedures are authorized at the direct
support maintenance level. The maintenance step numbers used herein
coincide with the procedure numbers listed in TM 11-6625-2684-30.
Appendix B lists the expendable supplies and materials required in
the authorized maintenance procedures.
3-20. Transformer T1 removal/replacement.
Removal.

Remove
transformer
and
transformer
bracket
mounting
hardware (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7) and bracket (4).

Remove mounting hardware (54 and 55), insulator (53), and
cover (51) from TB1.
--

Remove transformer (8). Stow bracket using hardware 1, 2,
and 3 in the same holes.
Stow hardware 5, 6, and 7 in
the same holes.
Replacement.

Unstow hardware and bracket.
Install T1 with mounting
hardware and bracket.
--
Connect the wires from T1 and TB1; remove tags.

Install insulator (53) and cover (51) on TB1 with mounting
hardware.
3-21. Normal indicator XDS2, low indicator XDS3, or RESET switch S2
removal/replacement.
Removal.

Remove transformer T1 (8) and transformer bracket mounting
hardware (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7) and bracket (4). Swing T1
over edge of the chassis (9) to provide working room.

Disconnect the wires to XDS2 or XDS3 (10), or S2 (11) and
tag the wires.
NOTE:
If removing the RESET switch S2 only, go to step 4.

Remove the lens (12), lamp (13), mounting nut (14), washer
(15), and XDS2 or XDS3.
