PART B - MAINTENANCE OF THE CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY
1.
General.
There are safety items and maintenance procedures that you must observe throughout
the maintenance of the conveyor assembly.
WARNING
Make sure all systems are shut down and the
MASTER switch is OFF.
These safety precautions are:
o Prior to beginning any maintenance procedures, ensure all systems are shut
down and the MASTER switch is in the OFF position. If this procedure is not
followed, personal injury or equipment damage could occur.
o Prior to starting any of the maintenance procedures, ensure that you have
reviewed and have the appropriate technical manuals on hand.
While
performing maintenance procedures on the conveyor assembly on the M992
o Ensure the required number of personnel to perform the maintenance are on
hand.
o When the removal and/or disassembly process has been completed, inspect and
replace any defective components in preparation for the assembly and/or
installation process.
NOTE: For the next four maintenance procedures,
the
installation
process
will
consist of reversing the removal process.

Removal and Installation of the Conveyor Support Cables.

Accomplish removal by using the following the steps:
