- The green PASS TEST light comes on within 6 seconds.
- PASS TEST light will go out.
- The yellow FAULT light will come on and remain on.
o Now you must press the LAMP TEST toggle switch to the down position
and inspect all four lamps to ensure they are functioning. Replace
any defective bulb you may have found.
o Lift the fault identification access cover and press the LAMP TEST
toggle switch. If any LED does not light, replace the engine T/A
panel as outlined in TM 9-2350-267-20.
WARNING
If the engine T/A panel POWER ON lamp does not go out
when the T/A panel MAINTenance switch is turned to the
vertical (power off) position, disconnect the battery
ground lead and DISCONTINUE TESTING, then troubleshoot
the AFES as outlined in TM 9-2350-267-20.
o With the engine T/A panel MAINTenance switch in the vertical (power
off) position, all lights on the T/A panel should go out.
actuators must now be reconnected.
o Now turn the engine T/A panel MAINTenance switch to the horizontal
(power on) position and observe the panel lights. The sequence of
events will be the same as shown above, except the yellow FAULT
light will not come on.
Should the trouble light come on,
troubleshoot the engine fire detection system as shown in TM 9-2350-
267-20.
o Turning the MASTER switch to the OFF position, observe the engine
T/A panel lights. The green POWER ON lamp should remain lit. If
not, then troubleshoot the engine fire detection system as shown in
TM 9-2350-267-20.
o Finally, turn the engine T/A panel to the horizontal (power on)
position.
