distribution box, and the electronic control assembly. As is the case with
the hull series manuals, these manuals also contain an alphabetical index,
DA Form 2028, and a metric conversion chart.
(b) Volume 2.
Volume 2 contains three chapters that cover the
maintenance procedures for the turret, electrical installation, aid the
turret drive.
(c) Volume 3. Volume 3 comprises three chapters, six appendixes, and
ten foldouts. The chapters contain maintenance procedures for the 25mm gun
and TOW launcher, backup sight, and the special tools. The appendixes cover
the references, expendable supplies and materials list, illustrated list of
manufactured items, jack and plug configurations, tools for repair of plugs
and jacks, direct and general support maintenance common tools and
supplements special tools/fixtures list, and the glossary. The foldouts are
schematics for the turret distribution box, relay box assembly, annunciator
panel, TOW control box, commander's handstation assembly, gunner's
handstation assembly, turret position indicator, turret control box, weapon
control box, and the electronic control assembly.

M2/M3 BFV Parts Manuals. The last two manuals to be discussed are the
parts manuals.
These manuals are characterized by the "P" in the
identification number (TM 9-2350-252-20P 1). There are two volumes of parts
manuals at the unit and TDS/IGS level. These two volumes are divided just
like the previous manuals: a 1 indicates hull components and a 2 indicates
exploded views of components. ON the next page, it lists the figure number,
source, maintenance, recoverability code, the national stock number (NSN),
the federal supply code for manufacturers (FSCM), part number, item
description, usable on code (the equipment on which that particular part can
be used), unit of measure,
