into 3 volumes.
(a) Volume 1.
TM 9-2350-252-20-2-1 is made up of three chapters.
The first chapter is the introduction, which covers general information,
chapter consists of the general maintenance procedures.
This chapter
encompasses repair parts, special tools, TMDE, and support equipment, the
services to be performed upon receipt, the PMCS, troubleshooting, and
and explains how to use the troubleshooting charts. It covers the turret
fault symptom index, test procedures, message word index, message words,
fault number index, follow on procedures, and the turret dome light
troubleshooting procedures. In addition volume 1 has an alphabetical index
covering volumes 1, 2 and 3.
It also has DA Form 2028 for the user to
report any discrepancies that may have been found in the manual and a metric
conversion chart.
(b) Volume 2.
Volume 2 of TM 9-2350-252-20-2 contains thirteen
chapters. These chapters are numbered four through seventeen and apply to
maintenance of the turret, turret electrical system, maintenance of the
hatches, maintenance of the turret drive, cushions, travel lock, secondary
sight, bolt on armor, vane sight, coax machinegun bulkhead doors,
maintenance of the 25mm gun guard, elevation indicator, maintenance of the
25mm gun and rotor, and maintenace of the turret slope indicator.
Like
volume 1, volume 2 has an alphabetical index.
However, this index covers
just volume 2. It also has DA Form 2028 and the metric conversion chart.
(c) Volume 3. This is the last volume of the TM 9-2350-252-20 series
of manuals. It contains fourteen chapters numbered eighteen through thirty-
one. These chapters cover the maintenace of the TOW drive, TOW launcher and
25mm weapon resolver, ballistic sight cover, wiring harness, deck clearance
switch, 25mm feed system, maintenance of the 7.62mm feed system, the 7.62mm
machinegun, back-up sight, hull gyro assembly, and special tools.
