Use of the M2/M3 SPAS Manual in Unit Maintenance
The SPAS manuals are organized so that the maintenance procedures will be
easy to find and easy to perform. Each volume of a manual has a table of
contents, and the final part of each volume contains an alphabetical index.

Two series of manuals are used at
the unit level. These are TM 9-2350-252-10 and TM 9-2350-252-20.
In the
subparagraphs that follow the use of each of these manuals will be
discussed.
(1) TM 9-2350-252-10 - Operator's Manual.
Four different types of
procedures or tasks are described in this manual. They are operation tasks,
maintenance tanks, Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) tasks,
and troubleshooting tasks.
A task listed in this manual is the
responsibility of the operator and/or crew.
(2) Finding the Correct Task or Procedure.
Pick a key word from the
