Part  2  is  divided  between  two
volumes.
In  volume  1,  the  three  chapters  cover  the  direct  support
maintenance
procedures for the hull, suspension, and the power unit.  Also,
in the back
of the manual is the alphabetical index for volumes 1 and 2.
(b) Volume 2.
The nine chapters of volume 2 are a continuation of
part 2, volume 1.  These chapters deal with direct support maintenance and
cover the maintenance of the fan and fan speed control, engine air cleaner,
final drive output shaft seal, electrical system, fuel system, driver's
control, hull assemblies, winterization kits, and special tools.

TM 9-2350-252-34-1-2, Part 3.
Part 3 of these TMs deals with
general support maintenance.
This part is composed of three chapters and
nine appendices with three foldouts.  The chapters cover the maintenance on
the hull, final drive, and engine/transmission stand.  The appendices cover
the references, dependable supplies and materials list, illustrated list of
manufactured items, and guides for the following tasks:  repair of the screw
threads inserts, pin and socket arrangements for plugs and jacks, tools for
repair  of  plugs  and  jacks,  tool list  for  initial  setup of  tasks, and
inspection standards for gears and splines.  A glossary follows.  The three
foldouts are for the personnel heater and fin control box, 1W10 wiring
harness, and the vehicle distribution box.
(2) Turret Maintenance at the IDS/IGS Level.  Turret maintenance for the
BFV at the IDS/IGS level is contained in TM 9-2350-252-34-2.  These manuals
are also broken down into volumes by the type of operation being performed
and, when necessary, into parts.  TM 9-2350-252-34-2 is divided into three
volumes.
(a) Volume 1.  Volume 1 (TM 9-2350-252-34-2-1) is divided into three
chapters.
Chapter  one  contains  the  introduction,  general  information,
equipment description and data, and the principles of operation.
Chapter
two contains the general maintenance procedures, which includes the repair
parts, special tools, TMDE, and support equipment, services to be performed
upon  receipt,  troubleshooting,  and  general  maintenance  instructions.
Chapter three covers troubleshooting, which includes how to use the
