LD/R Installation.
(2) Attach the LD/R (1) to the TU (2) as described in paragraph 2-1, step 5
of appendix B.
(3) Refer to figure 1-28. Level the G/VLLD by releasing the locking screws
(2 and 3) and turning the screws ccw 3-4 turns. Turn the adjusting screws (4 and
5) cw or ccw, one at a time, until the bubble in the precision level (1) on top of
the TU is centered within the ring.
Turn the locking screws (2 and 3) cw until
secure.
CAUTION
When the TU and LD/R are attached to the vehicle adapter
assembly, ensure that the adapter assembly is securely
locked into place.
If vehicle adapter assembly will not
lock securely in place, refer it to the direct support
maintenance for adjustment.
