Remove four sets of mounting hardware (43, 44, and 45) and
pull J1 (46) out of the chassis to the extent of the
wires.

Cut and remove sleeving from the J1 terminals.
--
Disconnect and tag the black wire attached to terminal lug
E2 (47).
--
Disconnect and tag the wires to J1.
--
Remove gasket (48).
Replacement.
--
Install a length of sleeving (MIL-I-23053/5, 0.25 dia.,
type I, black) over the black wire attached to terminal
lug E2 and heatshrink.
--
Connect the black wire to terminal E2, remove tag.
--
Place the wires to J1 through mounting hole.
--
Install a length of sleeving (MIL-I-23053/5, 0.25 dia.,
type I, black) over each wire to J1.
--
Install gasket on J1.
--
Connect the wires and remove tags.
--
Slide sleeving over J1 terminals and heatshrink.
NOTE:
Be sure terminal lug E2 (47) is attached when installing J18.
Install J1 and terminal lug with mounting hardware.

Install cover with eight sets of mounting hardware.
3-30. Monitor Jack Cables W2 or W3 removal/replacement.
Removal.

Refer to figure 1-11.
Disconnect W2P7 from A2J7 (17) or
W3P6 from A2J6 (18).
--
Refer to figure 25.
Unscrew and remove mounting nut and
washer holding J3 or J4 to the panel.
--
Remove J3 (63) or J4 (64) from front panel.
--
After cutting necessary tie-wraps, lift cable W2 (70) or
W3 (71) from the chassis (9).
Replacement.
--
Insert coaxial connector J3 or J4 on the end of cable W2
or W3 through the right mounting hole J3 or J4 on the
front panel from the rear (inside the LR Tester chassis).
--
Secure the connector J3 or J4 with a washer and mounting
nut.
--
Connect the other end of cable W2 or W3 to the right
connector on A2 (A2J6 or A2J7).
